Lela Jones
Art Form(s):Artist Statement
I specialize in the conversation between evolving traditional and contemporary movement and music cultures in the Black Diaspora. My facilitation style is informed by my grounding as a native of the US, my nomadic lineage, and my mother’s southern downhome-ness tied closely to my father’s urban street grace.
