Description

This workshop allows students to work in an interactive setting to establish a foundation for the evolution of Indian dance. Students will be able to differentiate between traditional dance forms, learn folk dances from different regions of India, and explore how Bollywood dance evolved into a global phenomenon.
For residencies, the workshops will build choreography over the course of a week and culminate in a routine that students can perform.
