Description

Based on his personal journey to discover his family’s history, Jacob Winterstein developed this residency as a way to share his process and help young people connect with their personal history and the stories of those around them. Participants learn the stories of the people in their lives, whether they be family members, caregivers, babysitters, teachers, school bus drivers, or family friends. Students will use interview techniques, research, and writing skills to document the stories they discover.
